We run a weekly off-site Forest School session throughout the year, in Queens Park, for children who we feel will benefit from this very exciting approach to learning.
Forest School learning is very hands-on, and covers the whole Early Years curriculum.
Barbara and Cecilia, the Granville Plus staff leading it, are experienced Level 3 trained Forest School practitioners.
Other staff join the sessions periodically throughout the year, to help embed our Forest School approach across the staff team.
Barbara and Cecilia also run a weekly on-site Forest School each term, for children who we know will benefit, but who find going out regularly more of a challenge.
We track the children's progress in key areas of the curriculum, and can see the impact on their learning.
